Over twenty-five years, I built an executive career inside one of the most demanding environments there is — banking — where decisions carry real consequences for customers, portfolios, and the wider economy. I grew to regional-director level through roles that required sound judgment, composure under pressure, and the ability to lead people through complexity, then translated that lived experience into a leadership advisory and executive coaching practice for senior leaders who operate at the same level of intensity.
My leadership journey has been shaped by the realities of regulated growth, risk governance, and transformation. As Regional Head for Corporate Credit at an international financial institution, I was accountable for a large and diverse customer portfolio and for the standards behind it: credit strategy, portfolio health, restructuring approaches, and the daily discipline that keeps decision-making consistent. I led a leadership team, partnered closely with senior stakeholders, and balanced performance with responsibility — especially when the right decision was not the easiest one. I also served on the institution’s transformation committee, sitting at the table as AI adoption was designed for some 7,000 employees — an experience that shapes how I now help leaders bring their people through technological change. The question of what happens to human value in an AI world is not theoretical to me; I have watched it play out at scale.
I have also led from the front in recovery and restructuring, where the human side of leadership is impossible to ignore. Supporting businesses in distress, guiding teams through sensitive negotiations, and restoring stability requires more than technical expertise — it calls for empathy with boundaries, courageous conversations, and a calm commitment to outcomes. Those years reinforced a principle I bring into every engagement: leaders are measured not only by results, but by how they lead when the pressure is highest.
Alongside my corporate career, I built a substantial coaching practice — thousands of hours of individual and team coaching with C-suite and senior leaders, transformation owners, and high-potential executives stepping into broader scope. My focus is on helping leaders strengthen executive presence, elevate decision quality, align stakeholders, and turn strategy into a cadence people can follow. Clients describe my approach as grounded and direct, with warmth and precision — reflective insight paired with pragmatic execution. We do not just explore what is true; we translate it into how you lead on Monday morning.
My work is underpinned by globally recognized credentials: ICF Professional Certified Coach (PCC), EMCC Senior Practitioner, certified team coach, and Gallup®-certified CliftonStrengths® coach, with advanced training in evidence-informed approaches to behavior change. I serve as Vice President on the board of EMCC Greece. I founded Global Coaching Center in Cyprus to expand leadership development beyond one-to-one coaching, and later founded Averi Advisory, established in the UAE, serving leaders, founders, and boards across the UAE, Europe, the US, and Asia.
In 2024, I received the She Leads award at the Empowering Women in Leadership summit by WYN Conference in Paris — recognition I value not as a title, but as a marker of impact across both corporate leadership and executive development. That same year I published my first book, The Path to a Fulfilling Life: Eudaimonia; my second, on ownership and leadership in the age of AI, is underway. Today, I partner with leaders who want to lead with clarity and courage, communicate with conviction, and build organizations that perform — sustainably and humanly — under real-world conditions.
